Refund and Returns Policy

C.M. Collins trading as Tam’s Odds & Ends (“us”, “we”, or “our”) owns and operates https://tamsoddsandends.co.za (the “Site”). This page informs you of our refund and returns policy.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 5 days. If 5 days have passed since your purchase, we can unfortunately not offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging where applicable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you have received a defective or damaged product, please notify us within 24 hours after receiving your order. You can return or exchange the product within 5 days.

Returns must be requested within 24 hours and logged within 5 days after your order was received.

Only product defects qualify for return and exchange.

We do not reimburse delivery costs.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Exchanges (if Applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at oddsandsends@tamay.co.za and send your item to: 34B Central Avenue, Eastleigh, Edenvale, South Africa.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct it.

Non-returnable Products

Certain products are sold “as is” and cannot be returned or refunded.

Used Items

With the exception of plants, flowers and trees, the majority of products for sale on the Site are “used”, meaning that they are not new and will show signs of age and wear. For this reason, no used items except for electronic devices and appliances that are defective will be accepted for return or refund.

Plants, Flowers and Trees

Live plants, flowers and trees are not accepted for return or refund after they have been delivered. Please inspect your order on receipt and notify us immediately should the item be damaged in any way and return it to us. We will gladly replace any plant, flower or tree that was damaged during shipping.

Books

Unless stated otherwise, all books are classified as “used” and therefore do not qualify for return or refund. Please examine the product images on the Site carefully and read product descriptions and attributes. We normally state the condition of books and any obvious damage or wear.
